Ida-Elisabeth Larsen (DK)

Based in Copenhagen. She achieved her accredited graduation in contemporary dance from SEAD in 2007. Dancer for London based choreographer Jelka Milic, and have with her toured the pieces Folding (‘07) and Jasmin Pathologies (‘08) all over Europe. Lately she collaborated with visual artist Jette Hye Jin Mortensen by choreographing and dancing in the art-video Miss Jin presents The Unwed Mothers. The video is produced by and for G.O.A.L. Art Festival, Krings Space, Seoul, South Korea.

As a solo artist Ida-Elisabeth creates under the pseudonym IDAPERFORMS. At the moment she works on developing the piece Rebirth of the Critical (’10) in collaboration with Romanian film editors Vlad Basalici and Gabi Basalici. Here she explores the nature of the rebel and the critical voice. The piece is produced by ArtProcessors.
Ida-Elisabeth is also an assisting cultural consultant in the municipality of Roskilde. Here she has assisted the realization of the projects Byen som skærm (’08) and the LYSLYD project Roskilde Resonerer (’09-’10) -a cross-municipal, EU funded, festival organized by Copenhagen International Theater.
A long side her artistic practice she is an enrolled student at Roskilde University. Here she follows the courses Performance Design and Philosophy, exploring several aspects of approaching the body in both fields.

       
 

Gry Raaby
(DK)


Based in Copenhagen. She achieved her accredited graduation in contemporary dance from CDSH Contemporary Dance School Hamburg in Germany and studied african dance at Agoro Ciltad and Folkloric Selamta in Ghana.
Gry has contributed as a dancer and freelance artist in the Hamburg based dance company Sticky Trace Company since 2009, and has amongst others also worked with choreographers: Tomislav Jelicic (HR), Fiona Gordon (GB), Carlos Jaramillo (CO), Signe Koefoed (DK), Uta Engel (DE), Edward Talton-Jackson (US) and Ida-Elisabeth Larsen (DK).

Gry Raaby often tries to integrate movement in the world of video- and soundinstallations, and has here collaborated with Nis Eik, Signe Koefoed, the German based artgroup Tapemosphere, and the copenhagen based artgroup Wunderkammer. Latest she performed in the car-installation "Elena Ceausescu’s Wunderkammer" by IDAPERFORMS which was originally made as a part of Drive-in, and recently got chosen to be in the top 10 with a 60-seconds-version of her video One day, Some day... in 60secondsdance.dk

Her work with african dance has brought her to exciting collaborations with the companies Calabash Dancers, Safrico Dance Co. and Kente Traditional Dance Company touring in Denmark, Sweden and Ghana.

Gry also works as an organizer and assistant, and has amoungst others worked for Dansens Dage managing and assisting Akram Khan Company and Rosas during their stay in Copenhagen, and on Mellemrum - Kitt Johnson X-act’s site-specific performance festival assisting Mette Ingvartsen, Seimi Nørregaard and Andrea Fagarazzi. Currently Gry is working on SPOT ON - a platform for choreographers.

 
       
 
Marie-Louise Stentebjerg (DK)

Marie-Louise Stentebjerg is a choreographer and performer based in Denmark, but also working abroad. She graduated from Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in 2005, a three-year professional program in contemporary dance and choreography. Since then she has been working with own artistic projects and as a freelance performer within the field of stage art/performance. Her main focus is on experimentation and exploration of the genre, aiming to find new expressions and possibilities. She is mainly working collaboratively and is one of the founding members of 3 independent collectives/organisations.

Resent collaborative work: In Oct. 2010 the performance “Manual for Better Games” premiered at Lille Carl, Dancescenen, Copenhagen. The performance was a collaboration with Belgian based performer and visual artist Amélie Marneffe.
Earlier that year she began her first collaboration with Slovenian Via Negativa (DNA production) under direction of Bojan Jablanovec which resulted in the performance CasablancaTherapy which has been touring in Europe since the premiere in May 2010. She will start a new project with Via Negativa in July 2011. In 2009 she was engaged as a choreographer and performer at MIKS Dance Theatre in London for the collaborative piece/project “FEVER”.

Beside RISK:RECLAIM:ENTERTAIN she is co-founder of:

Reverse Collective (founded 2009) - Cross-artistic group with focus on interaction between the disciplines choreography, performance, music and visual art (installation). The aim is to find new expressions and methods in the work with stage art. So far the group has two finished projects that has been shown at Louisiana Museum (DK), Diversia Festival (Russia), R:R:E '09 and Skopje Biennale. Currently they are working on 2 new performances.

Collectiv.At. (2004-2007) - Belgian based Dance Company. Their work, “Petite Cuisine”, “Quien Soy Es” and “Room 21”(dancefilm) has been shown at festivals, theatres and galleries throughout Europe. (i.e. 12a Quienzena de Danza de Almada, Mayday Festival, Batárd Festival, Junge Hunde Festival, tour with Interkunst, 1st price at ”Encuentros, Jovenes Artistas de Navarra in Teatro Gayarre, Museum Miat, Dancecamdance…)

As a freelance artist she has been working with Deborah Vlaeymans and Inge-Agnete Tarpgaard, Sara Gebran, Mork Dans, Marie M. Kristensen and Sarah Cederstrand in site-specific projects and done film work with/for Maia Soerensen and Madeleines Madteater.

 
       
 

Marie Topp
(DK)


Based in Copenhagen. Marie Topp works in the borderland between dance and theatre, latest in cooperation amongst others with stage director Leiv Arne Kjøllmoen in the performance 7 Doors and in the upcoming project 4:48 Psycosis.
Marie has performed in La Marea by director Mariano Pensotti at the Metropolis Festival 2009 and in Teater Hedeland’s staging of Carmen in 2007, as well as in works by Thomas Eisenhardt (DK), Bo Madvig(DK), Sascha Pepleyev(RUS), Priscilla Rasmussen(DK), Poul Laursen(DK), Claire Parsons (SE), Nikolaj Jespersen(DK), Tony Vezich (ISL), Ingrid Rosborg(SE), Adi Salant(ISR/DK) & Piet Rogie (Be).

She has co-created the performances Message from a Black Man and On Her Elbows Too. Both are created for public spaces and were performed at Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen. Marie also participated in the multidisciplinary art project Parkrum in Fælledparken, Copenhagen, 2009.
In June 2009 she graduated from the National School of Contemporary Dance in Denmark.

Jara Maria Høgsberg
(DK)

Based in Copenhagen. She achieved her BA in Aesthetics & Culture from Aarhus University and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany. Jara is at the moment engaged with her MA concerning the field of Modern Culture at Copenhagen University.

She has lead several art and cultural related projects as project manager. Furthermore she has worked, as assisting curator at the gallery WAS -Wonderland Art Space, where she handled PR, communications and research in particularly on the exhibitions Klondyke and HUMAN/NATURE/MACHINE.
Connected to the international Avant-Garde Conference Historizing the Avant-Garde at Copenhagen University November 2009, Jara took part with a paper about Arts entry into the TV medium.
