Merging Grounds - A performance festival at Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art in Copenhagen.

Merging Grounds was a performance festival who invited different artists in to represent the four areas: Live - Production - Remake - Documentation. RISK:RECLAIM:ENTERTAIN was invited with End(less) Theatre to cover "live". End(less) Theatre was theatre taking place in an artspace, which made every now into a performance. Eight artists from the Danish performance-scene met to dissolve the theatre production process through an ongoing 7 days repetitive cycle, staging lunchbreaks, premieres and dress rehearsals.
End(less) Theatre was sponsered by: Dansk Skuespillerforbund, Københavns Scenekunstudvalg, Nationalbankens Jubilæumsfond af 1968, Sadolin, Statens Tonekunstudvalg, Den Frie Udstillingsbygning.

Experimental art in 42 ways...
42 works from national and international artists will fill the rooms of Københavns Musikteater
with
ever-changing life and performativity under the title "The stage that wasn’t there". There'll be everything from dance and theater to soundinstallations and spoken words - and lots of performance! The audience can freely walk around in between the installations and performances as they please. The bar will be open all evening, and from 23.00 the artists will join the audience on the dancefloor...

RISK:RECLAIM:ENTERTAIN '09
20th of June 2009 in Råhuset, Copenhagen.
On the 20th of june 2009 RISK:RECLAIM:ENTERTAIN opened the doors for their first platform for experimental performativity and stage-art. We chose to place the event in the community centre Råhuset in cooperation with Kultur Vesterbro. During the event 40 artists represented their works within as different artistic fields as sound, scenography, performance, installation, dance, noice, visual arts, song writing, circus, music, theatre and video.
